My workouts are results oriented. They are designed to improve your physical and mental condition so that you can “have fun” outside of the gym and enjoy life and all the great things it has to offer. With that in mind, my training sessions are packed with hard work, challenging routines and real results.
I follow Eastern European protocols of strength training and build my clients workouts on fundamental exercises such as deadlifts, squats, pushups and lunges. Depending on my client\'s individual goals and needs, I incorporate a wide variety of training techniques to help them reach their goals; including core training, plyometrics, cardio drills, yoga and stretching.
Always an athlete, I played professional volleyball for six years in my home country of Czech Republic, so I understand the importance of the “athlete mentality” which never allows me to quit. Whether it is a one-on-one session, or a group class, I bring that mentality with me to all of my workouts and share it with everyone.
I love to dance and spend time with my friendson the weekend. Traveling is a passion of mine and two of my favorite countries are Spain and Croatia. I love learning about different cultures and sampling their cuisines. I have tried to create several of them myself but I have found I am much better at watching the cooking shows on tv instead! I enjoy my downtime hanging at the beach or pool and chilling out with a book.

I come in not only as a personal trainer but also as a coach, a mentor and leader. I continue to learn and grow as a trainer so I can continue to help you to strive to reach each and every goal you have set for yourself.
As a minor league baseball player for the past three years I have been trained by and along side the best in sports, such as San Diego\'s own Kevin Kouzmanoff. Baseball has taught me what the body needs to do to perform at its best. I want to show you that goals don\'t have to be just a thought...I want to help you to make them a reality.
I believe if your goal was easily attained, you didn\'t set your goal high enough. Strive for the so called unattainable and do everything in your power to achieve that goal! Motivation comes from within each and every one of us. I am here to help those who need find it. There is no hopeless in my book, can’t doesn\'t exist unless we let it and my goal for each and every one of my clients is to show them versus tell them that what they strive for everyday is within reach!

BS in Health and Exercise Sciences with a Concentration in Fitness Management- University of Delaware
Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist- National Strength and Conditioning Association, USA Weightlifting Sports Performance Coach Certified
Since I was a little kid I’ve always had a true passion for athletics. After excelling in football and track and field in high school and then rugby throughout college, I realized my love for sports was guiding me towards a future career path. This triggered the earning of an Exercise Sciences degree and prompted the decision to move from New York to San Diego to become a personal trainer.
I have trained clients ranging from youth athletes to a 72 year old woman with MS and everyone in between. The last three years I have narrowed my focus and continuing education efforts to performance training for athletes. In doing so I’ve learned how to increase strength, speed, power, agility and endurance in athletes by utilizing Olympic lifting, plyometrics, speed training and footwork drills.
I also came to the realization that these same principles can be applied to everyday exercisers. Incorporating these specific weight training techniques and sport drills can improve coordination, balance, dexterity and can add variety and fun into any workout. Through this style of training, my clients not only look better but perform and feel better as well.
When I’m not working I enjoy playing rugby for OMBAC, surfing and spending time with friends and family.
Boxing and kickboxing for both fitness and competition, weight reduction
BS in Exercise Science from Georgia Southern University.
During college my love for boxing lead me back to the ring and I started training again, focusing on Muay Thai and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
2002 - Won a bronze medal in the Georgia state games in boxing.
2002 - First in Georgia’s annual N.A.G.A. tournament and in the South Carolina invitational Jiu Jitsu tournament.
I believe in living life to the fullest. Training hard helps you discover yourself, helps you learn things that you did not know. You learn every day that there is no limit to what you can achieve, you can always better yourself.
My drive to excel in fighting landed me in San Diego, where the competition is the toughest. Becoming a coach and a fighter and sharing my passion for martial arts is what drives me. At Fit, I have an opportunity to be all that every day and share it with my clients.
When I\'m outside of the gym I enjoy cooking and watching a lot of movies.

When training my clients I believe in training for quality movement from the ground up. Quality movement patterns reduce the chance of non-contact injury by 89.5%. For example, if you are not getting full hip extension or using your glutes properly ,then that movement is likely to generated from the lower back. Since the lower back is generating more movements than it is suppossed to it will become more prone to injury.
My goal with my clients is to create a stable and safe workout that will help them get to their goals safely and quickly.Wrestling
