At Fit Athletic, we believe in fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment for everyone. That’s why we were thrilled to host our 3rd annual Pride Yoga celebration in collaboration with The Rady Shell at Jacobs Park and the San Diego Symphony on July 18th, 2024!
The energy at the Rady Shell was electric as attendees arrived, ready for an evening filled with yoga, music, and celebrating the LGBTQ+ community. As the sun dipped towards the horizon, the excitement was palpable. Guests mingled, enjoyed refreshing cocktails (including our special cocktail “Pride Breeze”), and savored delicious food options – the perfect prelude to the evening’s festivities.
At 7 pm, the talented Viktoria Talbot, one of our very own Fit Athletic instructors, led a community yoga session. Viktoria’s welcoming flow was perfect for yogis of all levels, creating a space filled with laughter and positive vibes. Participants stretched, strengthened, and moved their bodies in support of the Pride community.
Following the invigorating yoga session, The Rady Shell transformed into a vibrant dance floor! We were thrilled to welcome the dynamic DJ duo of DJ Sassy and the new addition, DJ Dova. Their energetic beats kept the party going strong, and the dance floor was filled with attendees, moving to the music and celebrating Pride week.
Pride Yoga was much more than just a fitness event. It was a powerful celebration of unity and acceptance. It provided a space for the LGBTQ+ community to come together, express themselves freely, and connect with friends and allies. We at Fit Athletic were honored to be a part of creating this special experience.
The success of Pride Yoga is a testament to the power of movement, music, and community to create something truly magical. We were proud to see San Diego’s vibrant spirit of inclusivity on full display! This event served as a reminder that love and acceptance can create a powerful force for good.
