From the Fit App to the Finish Line

The Rock ‘n’ Roll San Diego Marathon & Half Marathon is one of the most iconic races in the city. Every year, thousands of runners take over the streets of downtown San Diego for a high-energy route packed with live music, cheering crowds, and SoCal sunshine. This year, nearly 20 of them were Fit members; many crossing the finish line for the very first time.

But this story didn’t start at the start line.

Training That Shows up–Literally

In the weeks leading up to the event, nearly 50 members joined Fit’s free Rock ‘n’ Roll Training Group inside the Fit App. Led by Master Trainer Kyle Farley, the program was designed to keep runners consistent, accountable, and ready to go, no matter their starting point.

What made it special? Kyle didn’t just write the plan—he ran the race, too. So did several other Fit staff members, showing up not as coaches, but as peers, teammates, and motivators. The result was more than a training group. It was a shared experience rooted in trust and community momentum.

Keep That Momentum Going

Big moments are exciting—but the progress you make between them is what really counts. If you’re looking to build consistency, stay accountable, and train on your own terms, Fit’s Online Personal Training is available year-round in the Fit App. Every plan is built by our trainers, filmed in our clubs, and designed around your goals and schedule.
